New CAP cadet badges: CyberPatriot
and STEM
CAPP 60-42 outlines the requirements and procedures to obtain
the 3 levels of performance (basic/blue star, intermediate/silver star, and
advanced/gold star) for each of the two badges.
My goal: Every cadet should choose a path to the basic rating
in one of the two areas. Fifty percent of 508 cadets earn at least basic level
of either area in the next year.
Examples of STEM opportunities: Astronomy, model aircraft, and
meteorology.
Our unit has been approved for the Meteorology STEM kit. (Webpage)
